UTap Mobile Service

For the first time in Kuwait, Boubyan Bank introduces UTap on Android mobile phones, providing a completely new banking experience by replacing the card with the mobile phone to pay for purchases at POS and to make other transactions on ATMs faster and more conveniently.

UTap uses the latest NFC technology to allow the mobile phone to communicate with POS machines and ATMs and enable you to pay for your purchases and use Boubyan ATMs using your Android mobile phone instead of your card. Simply tap your phone on the POS machine or ATM to execute your transaction conveniently and securely.

UTap Mobile is available on the Boubyan App on Android devices and supports the following cards:

All Boubyan Debit Cards
All Boubyan Visa Credit Cards
All Boubyan Visa Prepaid Cards

UTap Mobile Limits:

UTap Transactions with PIN code	Above KD25	Above KD25
UTap Transactions without PIN code	Up to KD25	Up to KD25
Maximum amount without PIN code per day	KD200	KD50
After reaching the maximum amount without PIN per day (KD50)	UTap Transactions will require PIN	UTap Transactions will be declined However the card can still be used by inserting it into the POS.
