Boubyan’s Competition for The Best Volunteer Project
Out of Boubyan Bank’s keenness on keeping up with the local and international endeavors, and as a part of the United Nations’ sustainable development goals, and in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Boubyan Bank launched the first competition of its kind in Kuwait for public and private middle and high schools titled “Boubyan’s Competition for The Best Volunteer Project”.
The competition is organized in collaboration with “Spread The Passion” organization as an advisor and a member of the panel of judges owing to its extensive expertise in this important field.
Competition Goals
Through this competition, Boubyan Bank aims at instilling the spirit of giving in our students, especially at the level of volunteer activities that contribute to the sustainable development of Kuwait.
The bank seeks to achieve this goal by assembling a school team to implement a volunteer project whether at school level (inside the school itself) or beyond the school (anywhere in Kuwait), and then evaluating the projects and programs submitted by each school by a special panel of judges, which will adopt a group of criteria including creativity, innovation, and achievement of sustainability in addition to the applicability of the initiative and the possibility of deploying it the society.
Prizes
Winning schools will be awarded the following prizes as per each stage:
- Middle School:
- KD 2,000 for the first place
- KD 1,500 for the second place
- KD 1,000 for the third place
- High School:
- KD 2,000 for the first place
- KD 1,500 for the second place
- KD 1,000 for the third place
