Recite with Boubyan Competition

Boubyan Bank’s management is pleased to announce the launch of its annual Qur’an memorization competition (Recite with Boubyan) for the 6th year in a row. This year, the competition will be held exclusively for Boubyan Bank customers’ children:

Participation Procedures

• Filling out the below attached form which includes participant’s information, and choosing the appropriate age category.
• All participants will be contacted by phone to explain the details of the competition, the time for reciting by heart, and the remote participation method.
• The competition will be held by videoconferencing applications, such as Zoom, WhatsApp video calling, and Facetime. Details will be explained later on to everyone through a phone call.
• Recitation by heart will start as of Tuesday, May 5th 2020 and will continue until Sunday, May 10th 2020 between 9:30 pm and 11:30 pm. 
• The competition is organized for various age categories and each age category falls into two sub-categories (males and females). 

Awards and Categories

• Ages 14-17:
  • Memorization: 2  Juz’
  • First Place: KD 350
  • Second Place: KD 300
  • Third Place: KD 250
• Ages 10-13:
  • Memorization: 1  Juz’
  • First Place: KD 300
  • Second Place: KD 250
  • Third Place: KD 200
• Ages 7-9:
  • Memorization: 1 Hizb
  • First Place: KD 250
  • Second Place: KD 200
  • Third Place: KD 150

Terms and conditions

• Only children of Boubyan Bank customers are eligible.
• Seats are limited as the first 75 valid registering customers will be selected.
• We will contact participants with priority to the first-to-register ones.
