Reading Marathon

In cooperation with Clinica Dental Center & Takween Bookstore, Boubyan Bank organized the Charitable Reading Marathon at 360 Mall for the sixth time from Thursday September 26th through Saturday September 28th (10:00 am to 10:00 pm), as a part of the bank’s continued support to cultural and creative activities, which contribute to serving the society.

The idea of the marathon is that Boubyan Bank and Clinica will donate KD 1 for each 10 pages read by any of the visitors of the mall during the 12-hour marathon to help educate students with financial difficulties hindering them from getting proper education due to their weak financial abilities.

The marathon has been a success over sessions to collect KD 15,200, with participation of more than 2,685 thousand readers who read more than 152,045 pages.
