Boubyan Announces the Names of 20 Winners in the Draw of Its Campaign to Encourage Customers to Get Vaccinated
Boubyan Bank announced the names of winners of trips abroad as well as other valuable cash prizes in the draw for its campaign to encourage customers to get vaccinated, which lasted until the end of last month to encourage customers in order to reach herd immunity, thus making Boubyan the first of local banks to practically support the state’s efforts towards return to normal life.
The draw was held in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and a number of officers from the bank. The winner of the first prize, a London trip for 2 persons, inclusive of travel tickets and accommodation, was Ms. Dareen Mubarak Maghool Abdullah, while Ms. Suad Ahmad Abdullah Al-Tamimi won the second prize, a trip for 2 persons to Jebel Shams in the Sultanate of Oman inclusive of travel tickets and accommodation, while the 3rd, 4th, and 5th prizes were trips for 2 persons to Dubai inclusive of travel tickets and accommodation were for Ms. Noorah Hamad Shabeeb Al-Ajmi, Mr. Nasser Badi Mohammad Al-Otaibi, and Mr. Rakan Bandar Obaid Al-Shammari.
Furthermore, another group won cash prizes as winners from the 6th place to the 10th place received KD 250 each, while winners from the 11th to the 20th place received KD 100 each.
Mr. Qutayba Saleh Al-Bassam, Executive Manager - Corporate Communications Division, stated: “The campaign witnessed great participation from Boubyan Bank’s customers and all segments of the society. The campaign was particularly important since it is a part of the bank’s CSR efforts to incentivize all segments of the society to get vaccinated in order to protect the health of everyone.”
“The bank was among the first institutions to have a fully dedicated strategy to support the government’s efforts to encourage citizens and residents to register for the vaccine last December. This was made through Msa3ed, the chatbot of the bank’s App, which provided customers with the link to register.”, he added.
It is worth-mentioning that ever since the launch of Msa3ed’s Campaign to Encourage Customers to Get Vaccinated the draw has been open for all the bank’s customers who got vaccinated or those who registered for the vaccine since last February, with approximately 20,000 customers registering for the campaign.
