For the first time in Kuwait, Boubyan Bank has announced the launch of its virtual prepaid cards’ issuance service using Boubyan App, which enables customers to issue, activate and use the cards without having to visit a branch or even call the bank's customer service center, which emphasizes Boubyan’s leadership and uniqueness in terms of the digital services and products it offers to customers. 

In this context, Boubyan Bank's Deputy CEO, Abdulla Al-Tuwaijri said: "Once more, Boubyan Bank confirms its leadership and being synonymous with the phrase ‘For the first time in Kuwait’ through diversity, excellence and constant keenness on providing its customers with technologically creative and innovative products and services in a constant quest for smoothness and simplicity in meeting customers' daily needs. This has been reiterated recently by launching the virtual credit cards’ issuance service through Boubyan App."

Al-Tuwaijri also stressed that: "Issuing such a card comes within our constant understanding of our customers' wishes and expectations to find easily accessible banking services that meet their daily needs, and is also in line with our constant keenness on reaching service levels way beyond customers' expectations."

“Customers wishing to issue virtual prepaid cards could now submit the issuance application through Boubyan App without having to visit a branch or even contact the bank's customers' service center.”, Al-Tuwaijri explained.

Al-Tuwaijri went on to add: "The card can be activated and used immediately within minutes in online shopping in a much easier, safer and comfortable manner."

Speaking about the features of Boubyan’s virtual prepaid cards, Al-Tuwaijri said: “Cards are reloadable via Boubyan App or the online banking service free of charge, with a validity that can reach up to three years.” 

Al-Tuwaijri also said that customers could pay for their purchases using virtual prepaid cards and UTap services using all Android devices at various points of sale (POS) in Kuwait and abroad with the utmost easiness and highest levels of security.
