Boubyan E-Cup

Boubyan Bank is organizing the Boubyan E-Cup FIFA 19 tournament for the second year in a row, which will be held on September 20th and 21st. The tournament is expected to attract thousands of youth in Kuwait, being the biggest tournament in terms of participation and prize value in Kuwait. The tournament is expected to be hosted by GUST at Mishref.

Waleed Al Saqabi, Manager - Corporate Communications Division at the bank stated: “The most prominent aspect about this tournament is that it is the only approved one.”

He added: “The bank offers valuable prizes for this tournament to make it the biggest one in Kuwait as the first place will receive KD 1,500, while the second, third and fourth place will be receiving KD 1,000, KD 500 and KD 250 respectively, in addition to other prizes and giveaways for the audience.”

Al Saqabi went on to add: “The first place winner will have the chance to participate in one of the international tournaments. Furthermore, the tournament will be attended by a number of players from Kuwait National Football Team who will participate in recognizing the winners.”

Participation Conditions 

Speaking of the conditions of participation, Al Saqabi said: “The tournament is open for all young males aged 16 and above, Boubyan customers or not, without any maximum number of participants.

“Organizing this tournament comes after the great success achieved by the first one in the previous year which managed to draw the attention of many in Kuwait and the region lately coupled with the attendance of thousands of the Avenues’ visitors during the tournament’s activities which extended over two days.”, Al Saqabi explained.

Al Saqabi further stressed that the bank's organization of this tournament came as a part of its keenness on organizing various activities and events that attract various segments of the society, especially the youth.
