Boubyan Bank Launches the First NFC-Enabled Vertical Metal Credit Card

Once more, and in collaboration with IDEMIA International, Boubyan Bank reconfirms its leadership in innovative digital payment methods by launching its new metal, vertically designed World Mastercard credit cards for customers who have been with the bank for over 15 years.

Speaking on the occasion, Boubyan Bank's Executive Manager – Card Products, Youesf Al Majed said: "We are proud to be among the first to actually provide our customers with this NFC-enabled credit card. We also take pride in the fact that we were the first to introduce NFC-enabled cards in Kuwait several years ago.”

Moreover, Al Majed added: “This special & unique card in the Middle East and Africa, launched in collaboration with IDEMIA International - a leading company in the innovative metal credit card technology - will be available exclusively for customers who have been with Boubyan Bank for over 15 years since its foundation.”

Al Majed went on to explain that: “The first Metal World Elite Mastercard credit card will be issued to customers who have been maintaining Boubyan Bank accounts for over 15 years in addition to a number of Platinum and Private Banking customers; such cards will serve as a souvenir and a token of appreciation on our part for their loyalty to Boubyan Bank.”
