It’s a special edition prepaid card from Boubyan Bank in collaboration with VISA to celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026.  It’s available in physical and digital formats.

All existing and new Boubyan’s individual customers are eligible to apply for the FIFA prepaid card (age 15 years and above).

There are 2 design options available:

• 26 Design: Available as either physical or digital prepaid card
• Football Player: Available as digital prepaid card

• Physical Card: Limited edition collectible card for football enthusiasts (will be issued within 5 working days)
• Digital Card: Instant issuance and easy online/offline payments for customers who prefer convenience (Issued as a virtual prepaid card, can be activated and added to a Digital Wallet immediately)

No, once the card has been issued either Physical or Digital card – the card type cannot be changed.

Customer can get a maximum of 2 cards, one card from each design.

The cashback offer will run from launch of card till 28th February 2026. There will be other offers on the card after the cashback offer is over which will be announced in due course.

Customers will earn cashback based on spends made on the card during the campaign period. The cashback earned in a month varies by merchant category:

• Streaming Subscriptions: 26% cashback
• Sportswear & Sports Goods: 26% cashback (Monthly Cap: KD 15)
• Food Delivery Apps: 8% cashback (Monthly Cap: KD 15)
• Digital Game Purchases: 5% cashback
• All International Spends: 1% cashback
• All Other Local Spends: 0.5% cashback

*Minimum monthly spend requirement: KD 100

Yes, the monthly minimum spends to earn cashback is KD 100 and it is capped as per the following limits:

 Total campaign cap: KD 260 per customer

Monthly Caps:

• Food Delivery: KD 15 per customer
• Sportswear & Sports Goods: KD 15 per customer

The total cashback earned during the campaign period will be credited to the customer’s FIFA 26 Prepaid Card within 30 days after the end of the campaign, provided the card remains active and in good standing.

Eligible customers will be contacted by the Bank through SMS with gift collection details. Gifts will be distributed through designated branches once notified.
