Boubyan Bank Launches Its Staff App
The app will enable staff to manage their employment affairs anytime, anywhere

Boubyan Bank has announced the launch of the first App of its kind in Kuwait for its employees. The App will enable Boubyan employees to manage all their employment affairs such as leaves, training courses, assignments abroad, internal job postings, and job performance. The App enables Boubyan staff to request salary certificates and many other certificates around the clock, 24/7, using their smart phones.
The first days following the App launch witnessed high turnout from the bank’s staff who signed up to enjoy the many benefits available in the App which make their work-related affairs easier and smoother.
Mr. Adel Al-Hammad, General Manager - Human Resources Group stated: “In Boubyan, we believe we are more than a bank whether in our dealings with our customers or staff. For us, it is not about heading merely for a place of work, rather, we constantly seek to create the best work environment for our staff. This enables them to provide better performance which will be reflected in their services extended to customers”.
“In Boubyan, we believe in the importance of our human resources. We save no effort to provide them with the highest level of comfort and ease emanating from one of the bank’s main values, namely, Employee Focus.”, he added.
Al-Hammad went on to add: “In line with the current technological developments and the wide-spread of smart applications, the Human Resources Group at Boubyan Bank decided to keep up with such developments by introducing a smart App to the staff to enable them to access the bank’s human resources’ system anytime and from anywhere using their various smart phones. The App is equipped with the highest security features and information secrecy standards as per the international standards.”
The bank’s Human Resources Group has been keen on designing the App to meet the needs and expectations of staff. The design team listened to the inputs of staff and their remarks, which were taken into consideration during the design and implementation phase.
Al-Hammad added: “Now all the employment affairs are at the fingertips of Boubyan employees who can manage them through their very mobile phones as an option in addition to their PCs. This step will give them more flexibility to deal with emergent matters in addition to making their employment needs easier.”
The App contains all human resources-related services as managers can now manage all their employment affairs, give the necessary orders or approvals without any further delay or wait time, especially when they are outside working hours or during a vacation inside or outside Kuwait.
This further covers special requests for normal leaves or sick leaves or any other type of leaves in addition to all training affairs, courses or business assignments abroad.
The App further allows users to monitor day-to-day business affairs such as absence permissions, necessary approvals as well as various certificates’ request where a true copy should suffice along with the signature of competent managers as in salary certificates and others.
Al-Hammad elaborated: “The App is available for Boubyan Staff who can download it from their respective mobile App stores, then sign in using their staff ID nos. where their usernames will be linked to a special password.”
